Introduction to Microbial World

Hello guys. My microbiology lecturer, Dr. Wan Zuhainis asked me and the whole class as well to make an e-diary. So there you go. Today we learn about the introduction of microbiology. Definitely everyone are not very familiar with this subject and its content but everything goes well 😊 Thanks to Dr. Wan Zuhainis. Now I know that prokaryotic cell consists of bacteria while eukaryotic cell consists of fungi, protozoa, yeast and many more. Diatom is an algae. Our skin pH is 5.5 (make sure you choose the correct shower cream!) Bioremediation is a field where microbes is used to treat pollution. Penicillia produce penicillin which is used as antibiotics for human. Microbes not just cause disease to human but also have their own beneficial such as acts as vaccine, helps in digestion of food, carry out nitrogen fixation and also recombinant DNA technique.
